Summary of all three films

When looking at my three film i was trying to focuse on the following to help with my research:

1. How narrative, characters and genre are established
2. How the sequence uses 'micro' features, such as camerwork and editing to do the above

After watching the opening sequences of Feardotcom, Oceans 13 and Kill Bill Volume 1, i have decided to summarise the 3 films together to see how they establish what i am focusing on and to help me with my opening sequence of a Crime Thriller.

• In all the opoening sequences that i have watched we meet at least one main character
• A title sequence is used within the first two minutes of all the opening sequences
• We find out what the film is called in all the opening sequences
• There is clues throughout all of the opening sequences of what the genre is
• We learn in two of the films what kind of storline it has (Feardotcom and Kill Bill-volume1). In Oceans 13 we kind of understand what the storyline will be about but it is not fully set out for us.
